The CiRA Core team at KMITL is working with Faculty of Tropical Medicine, Mahidol University to deploy Covid variant identifier service on CiRA medical cloud on Apex infrastructure. The team utilizes the system to train a deep convolutional neural network model to identify Variants of Concern (Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Kappa) using 30,000 genome bases of SARS-CoV-2 found across the country.
